Uhg. What am I doing. I’m supposed to draw for my finals but as soon as I opened a canvas in Photoshop, this was born. Simple sketch of myself. Hahaha. I wear glasses all the time. Very rough color practice. =__= I just miss drawing.

What happened to my Daddy Voldy fanart? =___= I started this few days before July 15, 2011. Then I stopped. Got no reference for this one, I’m trying to teach myself to familiarize with male features + fantasy character anatomy. lolololll. xD It’s not yet done, and I’m not sure if I’m gonna touch this piece again. One of many illustrations I made for my homework in authoring subject. I chose skies for my theme. It’s really simple and very quick painting, nothing really serious but this one is my personal favorite. I love sunsets.  Sky is my favorite subject when I draw. :>

Little girls reads fairy tales. I am a girl and when I was a kid, I didn’t really gave a damn about fairy tales. I used to read a lot of encyclopedias about outer space when I was a kid. I learned a lot about how stars are born and its chemical composition, planets, asteroids and many science stuffs about the universe. I proudly announced my dream job when I was in prep: to be an Astronaut. My fellow kids didn’t laugh or reacted. I bet they didn’t understand what does it mean. As I grew older, I realize that this dream is just like reaching a star with my feet on ground. Being an astronaut is out of the question. It doesn’t exist in Philippines. So I picked more common ambitions, like being a Nurse or a veterinarian, but now I’m an art college student. If there’s anything that I couldn’t forget when I first entered college, that is when I took the question of my professor, “What course was your first choice” seriously. I don’t know what came to my mind when I said it. It looks like I still haven’t forgotten my childhood dream. This time, my classmates laughed at me, including my prof. They probably think it’s stupid. Sometimes, I think so too, but then I think it’s much cooler than studying art. lol Astronomy fascinates me so much that I wanna live on the Milky Way Galaxy (Lol hey we’re technically living in Milky Way! No, I meant the galaxy. haha ). I remember when I was a kid, I’d bug our housemaid to accompany me outside when it’s nighttime. I would look up in the sky and look for the brightest star and I would pretend that it’s my angel. Pretty absurd, but I miss those things. Right now, I can’t really enjoy looking at the sky in night because of the pollution in the city. Of course, I gave up in astronomy, but there’s one thing I’d like to do instead: Go up at the top of mountain and watch the stars at night.Don’t you think it’s interesting to watch the beauty of the world and feel so small in this vast universe? It’s such a pity that some people don’t really care about the mother nature, we’re really lucky to be living in the Earth. Someday, my eyes will be able to gaze at this magnificent view.
